Dr. Oonagh Wack joined Falmouth Veterinary Hospital in 2005 and resides in Harpswell with her husband, Dr. John Keating, a veterinary pathologist and assistant professor at Tufts Veterinary School. A native of Canada, she earned her Bachelor’s of Science from St. Francis Xavier in Nova Scotia and her veterinary doctorate from Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island. She furthered her veterinary education as an intern in small animal medicine and surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon. Drs. Wack and Keating have an extensive family including four dogs, five cats, three tanks of fish, and two birds with a medley of creative names including Slart, Pete Townsend, Ava Gardner, and Joe Strummer amongst others. Dr. Wack’s special veterinary interests include surgery, ophthalmology, and pocket pets. She became a part owner of Falmouth Veterinary Hospital along with Drs. Hazzard and Graves, joining senior partner Dr. Andrews, in 2009. In her free time, she is an avid gardener and kayaker, and she loves hiking with her dogs. |
